The Preston County Buckwheat Festival began in 1938 and has grown to include a carnival, food vendors, and one of the major attractions in northern West Virginia. Hosted by the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department, buckwheat cakes are served in the community building during the four day event. Over 60,000 people come to shop at the popular Arts & Crafts Show, watch parades, view champion steers, sheep, and more, and this year enjoy being with neighbors and friends after missing events last year due to the pandemic.
Meet award-winning authors in the Headline Books booth all four days and get autographed books to complete your gift list for the holidays!
