The socializing was encouraging, as was the occasional wheat yield of 80-100 bushels per acre. Discouraging was seeing wealthy, influential farmers getting perks from the government meant for poor farmers and having only five combines for 60 farms.

Marjory Henderson, Elementary Education major at the University of Arizona, taught in their sons’ Christian school in League City, TX for many years. Born and raised in Colorado, she moved with her husband and their two sons, Craig and Curtis, for a five year adventure in Saudi Arabia. From there they visited several Middle East countries, Cyprus, Kenya, England, Switzerland, Germany, and Holland. Since retiring, she enjoys teaching Bible studies as well as spending time with her family in Texas.

Marjory Henderson can best be described as a child of God. “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13) is her motto.
