Terra Alta—The 2026 Appalachian Arts & Craft Festival will be held August 7-8 at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center. Headline Books (Terra Alta), 2024 Independent Publisher of the Year, will feature seven national and international winning authors in its booth this year.
Organized by the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce, the Appalachian Arts & Crafts Fair is now in its 61st year. The 2-day fair features artists and crafters from across our Appalachian region.
Featured will be actress and international award-winning author Dreama Denver, who was married to Bob Denver for thirty years. She will be signing her newest book, Island to Icon: The Many Lives of Bob Denver, a photo collection that not only commemorates the 60th anniversary of the iconic TV Show “Gilligan’s Island” but is a tribute to the life and career of America’s favorite castaway.
Featured titles include Hardy’s Heroes by Rick Shockey, Autumn Is Coming by Jan Thornton Jones, Under Strange, Strange Skies and Lawrence Likes to Dance by Don Stansberry.
