Ed Rehbein
Photography
Though not native to the State, Ed and his wife Phyllis feel right at home in West Virginia. They met in Elkins, spent a couple of years in Morgantown, and have lived in Beckley for 24 years. They enjoy living in southern West Virginia because of all the opportunities to hike and experience the outdoors in nearby State Parks, the New River Gorge, and National Forest Lands. He and Phyllis hike every chance they get. Ed is a juried fine arts photographer at Tamarack and MountainMade, WV. His articles and photographs appear regularly in Wonderful West Virginia and West Virginia South magazines. His work has appeared in the following Juried Art Shows: The Best of West Virginia 2009 & 2010, Dickirson Fine Arts Gallery, Tamarack, WV; American Art Today 2009, The Bascom, Highlands, NC; and Inspired: A West Virginia Juried Exhibition, Landscapes, 2010, State of West Virginia Culture Center, Charleston, WV. Articles written by Ed for Wonderful West Virginia have won three national awards from the Association for Conservation Information
