Sponsored by the City of Huntington Foundation, The Joy to the World Tour featuring America’s Got Talent Winner Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. and Jazz Pianist Bob Thompson will be at the JCS Auditorium, Huntington WV City Hall on Saturday, December 23.

Since winning America’s Got Talent in 2001 by the biggest vote total in the show’s history, Landau has gone on to release three albums including a #1 hit on the Billboard Jazz chart, a live concert DVD and an Amazon best selling memoir detailing his amazing rise from homelessness to washing cars to winning AGT. He has also helped raise over a million dollars for children’s and homeless charities and flood relief in his home state of West Virginia.

Born in New York, Bob Thompson moved to West Virginia in the mid-’60s to attend then West Virginia State College. Bob is perhaps the state’s best-loved musician and ambassador of jazz. He has impacted many people’s lives both as an entertainer and a teacher.
