Paris Book Festival Announces 2024 Awards!

Headline Titles Win 14 Awards

PARIS_The 2024 Paris Book Festival completed judging entries from around the globe for its 2024 competition. Entries from major publishers, independent publishers and self-published works in the following categories: non-fiction, fiction, biography/autobiography, children’s books, cookbooks, compilations/anthologies; young adult, how-to, photography/art, unpublished stories, business, poetry, memoir, spiritual/religious, travel and the wild card (anything goes!) were excellent this year.

Entris were judged by a panel of publishing industry experts using the following criteria:  General excellence and the author’s passion for telling a good story and the potential of the work to gain a wider audience in the worldwide market.

A novel set in the Vietnam War era has been selected for top honors at the 2024 Paris Book Festival, which celebrates the best of international publishing. Author Dennis Torres’ There Are No Good Giants is the story of soldier Ben Kovner, who is sent to Vietnam and discovers there is more to war than combat – people still go to work, get married, and raise children, only do so without any expectation of a tomorrow.
