Dawn of Legends is the second volume of Matt Dragovits’ A Tale for Christmas series featuring illustrations by J.J. Varabkanich. On their way to the North Pole, Kris and his wife Jessica, alongside a group of toymaker elves, are ambushed by an army of goblins. Fortunately, another band of warrior elves comes to their rescue, and they find sanctuary among them. Soon, Kris and Jessica find themselves mesmerized by the magic of the nature elves while they help them build the Divine Reactor. Meanwhile, the goblins have captured Yeti, and his friend Jax is eager to launch a rescue mission. But a powerful dark sorcerer named Tanas leads the goblin army, and he has spawned snow golems to destroy humanity. Can Jax and his friends stop Tanas from acting upon his nefarious plans? Will Kris be able to deliver the Christmas presents?
